Selfhood & Citizenship: Imaging Otherwise

UA Assistant Professor of English Farid Matuk engages fellow poet Brandon Shimoda in a conversation on poetics, nationality, citizenship, privilege, internal and external definitions of identity, and reckoning with one’s roots in order to secure a better future for our loved ones. Farid will also read several poems from his latest collection, The Real Horse.

Event will be at the Social and Behavioral Sciences Tent (# 150) just south of the Student Union on the UA Mall.
