Participatory Democracy: Call your reps, Protect the Children

May 14 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

“This a good article that connects the dots. The bill to extend statute of limitations for survivors of childhood sexual abuse is being opposed by Eddie Farnsworth, who has a nephew in jail for raping a 12-year-old girl and is a member of the LDS church, which is starting to receive media scrutiny of its decades of covering up sexual abuse, and Bill Montgomery, who is a staunch Catholic. Both are also corporate shills doing the bidding of a the insurance industry, which is worried about having to pay out massive settlements for the institutions (like the LDS and Catholic churches) which it insures.”

And you can make a difference, here’s how: You can call Senate president Karen Fann (602) 926-5874 & Speaker of the House Rusty Bowers (602) 926-3128 and ask them to hear and vote on the bill(s) SB 1255 (Boyer’s original bill), SB 1101 (The strike everything bill).

Call every day. Have all your friends call too. Call your own reps and demand they vote yes on these bills (and on ERA if you want ;)) https://www.azleg.gov/MemberRoster/
