Never A Crime! Water Drop//Canvass with No More Deaths
January 12 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Trials begin January 15th for No More Deaths volunteers! Humanitarian aid workers are being prosecuted for their work on the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, a vast and remote stretch of desert outside Ajo, AZ. On Saturday, January 12, No More Deaths calls on everyone who supports the right to receive water, food and medical care — regardless of documentation status — to come out in support of humanitarian aid!
We will gather at Southside Presbyterian Church at 9 am for a short blessing. From there we will split into water drop crews, who will go out on humanitarian patrols in the desert, and canvassing crews, who will knock on doors in Tucson neighborhoods to distribute “Humanitarian Aid is Never a Crime” yard signs.
Register to canvass at bit.ly/canvass4cabeza9. Water drop crews will be extremely limited in capacity. To express interest, contact our campaign coordinator at email@example.com
