Food Choices and Climate Change

June 15 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Northern Arizona Climate Change Alliance and the Sedona Public Library are sponsoring a presentation by Dr. Jolene Bowers on Food Choices and Climate Change Saturday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sedona Public Library. This event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Jolene Bowers is a public health scientist, with a PhD in microbial biology, specializing in the influences we have on our environment and our environment has on us, as we are all in a “One Health” ecosystem. In her research, she has discovered that switching to a whole food, plant-based diet is a powerful way to help curb most, if not all, of our major public health threats, including our current climate crisis.
