D26 July PC Workshop

July 21 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Please join us for our first ever monthly PC Workshop!

What is a PC you ask? A PC, or a precinct committee person, is an elected or appointed representative for the Democratic Party in their precinct. There’s SO MUCH an individual is able to accomplish in their role as a PC. We’ll be going over what exactly that is during this workshop, as well as what is required in order to become one.

In addition to covering what it means to be a PC, these workshops will be a space EXCLUSIVELY dedicated to:
-Training volunteers for the upcoming election season
-Providing members with copious opportunities to become more involved in the party and in their districts AND
-Building leadership skills while empowering members to fulfill the individual goals they set for themselves when it comes to enacting the changes they want to see in their communities

During this meeting, we will also be electing a new vice chair. You will only be able to vote if you are already a PC. So far we have only one person who has expressed interest in the past month, and that is Julie Golding (this will be updated if more individuals express interest in running). If anyone else is interested, please let us know at d26dems@gmail.com so we can provide you with further information about the process, and can answer any questions/concerns you may have.

Absolutely everyone is welcome to come to the workshops, but PCs, prospective volunteers, and new members are highly encouraged to attend!
