Community Overdose and Advocacy Training

January 13 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

THIS TRAINING IS OPEN TO ANYONE!
********FREE Naloxone kits provided********

Learn how to advocate against health disparities among people who use/have used drugs, and how to prevent, recognize, and respond to an overdose…

Advocating takes on many forms, from meeting one on one with your legislators to calling or emailing. The process can seem daunting and for those of us who have been let down by the “system” it can be very scary, however we are here to help shift your perception also!

People who use or have a history of using drugs (prescription or non-prescription), friends and family members, healthcare professionals, behavioral health and treatment providers, and all responsible members of the community are strongly encouraged to attend!!
