CAZCA Connectivity Lab: Urban Wildlife Corridors
November 6, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
As human development expands, wildlife habitat and connectivity shrink. Maintaining healthy ecosystems while building thriving communities happens through collaborative efforts from people across many fields.
Participate in the first CAZCA Connectivity Lab @White Tank Mountains Conservancy, as we dive into corridors and crossings, their importance, applications and opportunities with awesome partners!
Animals migrate helping spread seed, pollinating our native plants, and supporting our desert as they go. Wildlife, plants, water, and all things in between work together to provide life-sustaining benefits for all people.
We all need connectivity!
*This particular lab is a fun workshop, based on role playing scenarios in a fictitious desert city, not real or specific corridor/crossing opportunities, and is meant to be a dynamic, collaborative space where folks from different professional sectors can engage about connectivity without concern for “real-world stakes”.
Join us in Dorrance Hall at the Desert Botanical Garden. This workshop is free.
