American Indian Council Indigenous Peoples Day- ASU March/Event

A collaborative event with American Indian Council, El Concilio, and M.E.Ch.A. This is a celebration for ASU students, alumni, and Sun Devil fans who will be celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day 2017. The day will start at the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus U.S. Post Office Student Center Patio (outdoor)

10:00 AM – Event Opening Ceremony
10:10 AM – Ruben Cuk Ba’ak (Poetry)
10:20 AM – Jacob Meders (ASU assistant professor)
10:30 AM – Ending ceremony
10:40 AM – March begins
11:30 AM – Arrive at Puente Human Rights (1937 W. Adams St., Phoenix, AZ 85009)
3:00 PM – ASU Presents History of Indigenous Peoples Day and honoring
5:00 PM – Dinner
6:00 PM – ASU Led Workshop

There will be rides back to the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus throughout the day, with a signed and dated waiver-consent form.
