August 14th, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – (En Español)

In light of events in Charlottesville, VA we have updated the artwork associated with the #DontTreadOnAZ event and added the #StandWithCharlottesville tag to our campaign. AZ Resist condemns violence. Our thoughts are with the people of Charlottesville and we will stand with them in solidarity. There is no room in this world for the bigoted hatred that was displayed in that community alongside this horrific and wholly appalling terrorist attack. The principles for which this protest was originally designated to stand for seem like paltry inconveniences in light of these events. Please join us in saying that #ThisIsNotUS in solidarity with the people of Charlottesville and those throughout this nation that have been impacted by racial injustice and terror at the hands thinly veiled white nationalism and racism.
#DontTreadOnAZ – We are sick and tired of our protections, freedoms and benefits being eroded by the elitist right-wing agenda that only benefits the 1%.  We are tired of witnessing the sale of Arizonan’s liberties for the benefit of a few wealthy donors.  Our healthcare, education, human rights, and environment are not up for debate.  It’s time to stand up and fight back against the systematic dismantling of our rights and protections. – #DontTreadOnAZ

#DontTreadOnAz is a statewide protest, taking place on Monday, August 14th at all of the congressional district offices throughout Arizona. In districts with progressive representatives, we will gather to show our support for their positive leadership. In districts with hostile representatives, we will gather to show our opposition to their hateful and harmful actions. Click on your city below and RSVP in Facebook:
